Substitution Music

There's a couple of children's songs like "under the spreading chestnut tree" or "heads, shoulders, knees and toes" where in each verse a word is taken out.

______, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes

______, ________, knees and toes, knees and toes

______, ________, _________, toes, knees and toes

etcetera. We used to sing it at school.

Play a set of notes in a loop but with each successive loop miss one of the notes out replacing it with rests.
