Each performer has a drone making device where a parameter (pitch, dynamics, timbre) can be altered. Guitar feedback, an oscillator, etc.
A round of drinks is bought. With each sip the performer makes an alteration to their drone.
When a performer goes to the toilet or bar they temporarily 'lay out' and do not play their drone.
