The leaves on the sycamores in the hedge are starting to fall. If keep quiet for long enough each cluster of leaves that falls makes for a delicate Feldman or Eno composition.
Choose 5 notes or less, to be played on an instrument of your choice.
Sit near a tree in autumn. The tree should be losing its leaves in a gentle breeze.
Each time a leaf falls, play a note until said leaf hits the ground. Notes can be played in sequence or at random.
If two or more leaves fall at the same time, start a new note as each leaf falls, rather than waiting for the first to hit the ground.
The composition is over when the tree no longer has any leaves.
